Well I suppose I should tell you all a bit about me. My name is Sami [well thats what most people call me] and I'm the grand old age of nineteen...okie, admittedly, that isn't exactly ancient and you're only ever as old as you feel which makes me a slightly bizarre 9 year old//28 year old...depending on my mood. I was born in London way back in the 80s and have lived here all my life. I'm intensely chipper and bubbly and yet thoughtful and deep. I suppose mixed characteristics make me human...that or slightly mad. I'm caring and considerate and friendly...although pretty boys have the effect of silencing me and making me turn into a very shy little thing indeed.
I have two obsessions, music and movies. Lets start with the music...I have very eclectic tastes but the majority of it is probably what most would consider "alternative". I could list every band I'm obsessed with but I shall cut it down to a few for readability's sake...A Perfect Circle, Silverchair, Muse, Bush, Placebo, Foo Fighters, My Vitriol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mansun, Radiohead, Deftones, SOAD, Marilyn Manson, Bowie...hmmm...more on my interests list on lj. When I say its eclectic, I mean it...I like some pop...some raggae [okay...bob marley]...some hip hop [outkast]...some classical...I could go on but lets just say I like it if its good :P

Now the movies...Oh God...don't get me started. First and foremost...I am not a pretentious chump who just watches art-house movies and shuns all else...I will watch everything. My tastes go from Dead Man [art housey] to Charlie's Angels [girlish goodness] to Thumbelina [disneyish]...to giant epicy goodness like my darling LOTR trilogy *hugs them all* and Troy. Even sci-fi like Spiderman. I should warn you...I have every Johnny Depp movie ever made...yup, thats right-all of them...fear me and my fangirliness. No, its not because of his looks [lovely added bonus] its because he's an amazing actor. Who else has the ability to portray all that a character feels through the eyes and a sum total of about 20 lines?

My other "slight" obsession would be a certain blue-eyed actor...and this one, I must confess...is looks based on the whole-but he's so pretty! Most of my friends will have groaned and sighed by this point but alas, I must mention his name...Elijah Wood *awaits the onslaught of flying objects*. Other slight obsessions include, Tobey Maguire, all the lotr, Brad Renfro, Kieran Culkin...and er new addition: Harry Potter. Can't think of others...on the actor/film front anyhoos.

Non-movie related "happy-happy-joy-joy" things include: pretty indie boys with nice hair, electronicy goodness, girlish things, complimemts :P...oh, and love...but thats a given. Hates? Er...ignornace...idiotic morons, stupidity, the belief that one is right and everyone else is wrong, closed-mindedness, people belittling me, people underestimating me, stress, people putting too much stress on my wee shoulders...erm...myself? Well the last is occassional.

I designed this website to have somewhere to put my graphics as I'm pretty sure people were getting annoyed with all the posts on Livejournal. That and I love designing and creating because it keeps me busy and is a fun outlet for emotional supression. Talking of which...I'm a singer [and an average song-writer]...I have a bass but I can't play...my forté is singing [I hope]...I wanna be in a band on stage singing...but it hasn't happened yet...its a dream. But seeing that not all dreams come true I have a lovely fall-back...I'm currently at Uni training to be a teacher. Yes...I shall be known as the crazy singing teacher...oh dear..
